Wga validating

Today I downloaded Ad-Aware and AVG for good measure. I'm not sure if it's even possibe or I somehow screwed up the creation process, but it didn't work. After rereading my post I also see that I didn't make it exactly clear that even after registering that troublesome it did not solve my problem. I ripped the i386 file from my laptops OEM restoration disk in an attempt to create a install disk so i could run the installation repair utility on the desktop, but like I said it didn't work out.Downloaded and installed then created a file using notepad with the following:cd /d ? subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=administrators=fsubinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=administrators=fsubinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=administrators=fsubinacl /subdirectories %System Drive% /grant=administrators=fsubinacl /subk eyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=system=fsubinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=system=fsubinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=system=fsubinacl /subdirectories %System Drive% /grant=system=f Ran the file and supposedly my registry permissions were reset to default.Tried to register the regsvr32 with the cmd command prompt but it failed again.Followed all the links, ran program to make sure all active x's and addons are configured properly and they are.It seems that any program requiring validation of operating system fails so i went to the microsoft website to validate windows.

Have a look see at the log and tell me what you think. 1.492: ================================================================================1.502: 2008/11/10 .258 (local)1.502: e:cc73ed0bf8529e8adf259c9de\update\(version 6.2.29.0)1.552: Hotfix started with following command line: /quiet /norestart /er /log: C:\WINDOWS 1.552: IECUSTOM: Scanning for proper registry permissions...2.744: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\.hta2.744: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\.hta3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile\Default Icon3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile\Shell\Open\Command3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile\Shell\Open3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile\Shell3.095: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile4.427: IECUSTOM: Scanning for proper registry permissions...5.708: IECUSTOM: Scanning for proper registry permissions...7.040: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\.hta7.040: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\.hta7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile\Default Icon7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile\Shell\Open\Command7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile\Shell\Open7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile\Shell7.481: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\htafile7.611: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\mailto7.631: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\news7.661: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\xmlfile7.661: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\xmlfile\Default Icon7.661: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\xmlfile7.661: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\xslfile7.661: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\xslfile\Default Icon7.661: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKCR\xslfile7.691: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\mailto7.691: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\news7.691: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\xmlfile7.691: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\xmlfile\Default Icon7.691: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\xmlfile7.691: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\xslfile7.691: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\xslfile\Default Icon7.691: IECUSTOM: Unwriteable key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\xslfile7.761: IECUSTOM: Backing up registry permissions...7.761: IECUSTOM: Unable to backup DACLs HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\xslfile7.761: IECUSTOM: Finished backing up registry permissions...7.761: IECUSTOM: An error occured verifying registry permissions.I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY ASSISTANCE IN ASSESSING THE RESULTS AND WHAT EXACTLY THE MEAN.
